I regret that due to numerous link-exchange scams I have closed this Links Page and all "exchanges" of the past have now been removed - unfortunately the good ones along with the bad ones. The links still here are from webmasters I know personally.

The scams are all designed to eventually give their web site a one way link. Many requests appear to be "out-sourced" - especially to India, China, and Russia, but the names are probably phony. Any web site that receives frequent requests for link exchanges will find they have been victim to some of the scams listed below. This is only a partial list:

1. They offer a link - but it's actually one of your old links they found on
another site.

2. They add javascript code to prevent search engine spiders from picking
up your link.

3. They insist you add their link first - counting on you to not check that
they've added yours.

4. They put your link on a page with "no index" in the meta tags.

5. They drop your link after a few months.

6. They redirect the link from your site to adult sites - or to gambling sites.
